Rob Kennard
He startedplaying musicwhen he was in the fourth grade where he learned to play the violin. At age thirteen he started playing acoustic guitar. 
He played around San Diego county with a variety of bands until his musical career took a turn for the better in 1980 when he teamed up with Terry Miller and formed the country duo Kennard & Miller.
In 1998 Rob and his duo partner formed a five peice band called The Honkytonk Kings. They played throughout San Diego for three years before Rob decided he needed a break from music and shut the case on his autographed Guild guitar.
In mid 2002 Rob rejoined his duo partner and reformed the famouse country duo Kennard & Miller. Together the two sing their hearts out for gigs all over town.
He is most musically influenced by such names as Geoge Strait, Dwight Yolum, and Marty Stewart.  Willie Nelson is also one of Robs favorites,  he is often mistaken for the famous singer when ever he sings one of Willie's songs.
Terry Miller
Terry started playing music in elementary school where he learned to play the trumpet. He played music throughout junior and senior high schools.
In his high school years he played in Grossmont Highs marching band and went on to earn a scholarship to Berklee School of Music in Boston.
Throughout the years Terry has learned to play piano, harmonica, and acoustic guitar, however, his true love is to play his electric Fender or Carvin guitars, which he has been playing since 1964.
Terry got his musical career off and running when he teamed up with his duo partner Rob Kennard in 1980. Together the two formed the country duo Kennard & Miller. 
Terry and Rob formed the five peice band The Honkytonk Kings in 1998. The band played together for over three years before Rob took a break from the music. Terry continued to play with the five peice until mid 2002 when duo partner Rob Kennard approached with the duo act again.  Since then the famous duo have been playing throughout San Diego for a variety of gigs. 
Terry is most musically influenced by the Beatles, Chicago, Steve Wariner, Marty Stewart and Steve Earle.

Kennard & Miller
Together the duo have won such awards, for their musical talents and vocal harmonies, as the San Diego Music Awards Country catagory for duo, Leo's Little bit of Country for country duo and vocals.
They have been mentioned in the Reader and the Day and Night and have been nominated for best country group for  The Honkytonk Kings for the San Diego Music Awards.
The have played throughout San Diego County at places ranging from Don's Cocktail Lounge, Tio Leo's, The Renegade Inn, and Magnolia Mulvaney's, to Penny Savers Ralley's at the Del Mar Fair grounds, Fund Raisers for schools throughout San Diego, Viejas Casino and many Corpaorate fundraisers.
You can also catch them at Bates Nut Farm in Valley center or at the Santee and El Cajon Elks lodge function, as well as Santee Chamber of Commerce functions.  Their choices never end.
